Very different to former Steam Complex. Not quite as vast but still big with lots of private spaces and variety of special playroom kit. Only open in afternoons as used for p***ary role as Swingers nightspots.

best thing: Plenty of opportunities for BDSM sessions.
worst thing: More leather sofas than clients.

If you remember the old Leeds Steam, or use other gay saunas be in for a surprise. It functions as a swingers club most evenings (Pandora's) and the theme is very "pin-up girl/Page three).....
It is in a very large building with a **** bar area (there must be a lot of swingers in Leeds!) and the venue is on three floors so one has to hunt around to find the action. That said at least we have somwewhere to go in the daytime for some ***.

best thing: It exists!
worst thing: Very large rambling venue

This has to have some of the best facilities of any sauna.

It's a bit out of the way in the Leeds suburb of Armley. But there are plenty of buses and can even walk - takes about 3/4 hour and and go most of the way along the Leeds-Liverpool c**** from Leeds railway station.

Downstairs is the changing rooms, sauna, steam room, showwers, jacuzzi and overnight rooms (at the weekend). Upstairs is for the actions - plenty of cabins, cinemas, dark rooms, BDSM rooms and relaxation places. Plenty of condoms and lube. I never leave without having fun with at least a handful of guys and I'm nothing to write home about (or a ****). There are frequent alterations and is always changing. The guys also have a regular cleaning schedule and are very friendly. It can be hit and miss whether it is busy or quiet. There are different themes each day and I've just discovered ***** nights on a Monday when it has started to get very busy with guys of all ages.

The basic entry is not cheap but there are usually deals if you sign up on their website, Facebook or twitter. Sometimes deals come late on the day itself so check your emails before you go it.

The overnight rooms at the weekend are also fairly cheap and good for a sleep, cuddle or more. They range from basic pods to en suite.

My current favourite sauna

best thing: ***** night and the entry deals; the very friendly staff and guys.
worst thing: Just it's location in the suburbs (but there is car parking too).

I do like this place, as it is big and plenty to see. It keeps changing which is good, new addition most times I go which is good to see as they take care in the look of the place.

The only thing which let it's down for me is the smell of the toilets and the showers which seem to go up the stairs near there and that area too. It puts me off sometimes going because of that, but you learn to over look it.

Big place but run down in spots. Carpets stunk. A big clicky with regulars.

Very quiet sauna, if you like that sort of thing. TV screens in the ****o lounges need replacing as they are defaced (September 2014). Good Food and fab bar with a great relaxing atmosphere but not many, if any, guys of my age group (under 30) and although I am fine with older guys and bears it is not really what I go to saunas for. I would like to see a younger crowd in there and an improvement on the TV screens. There is an area on the top floor that is a little to extreme for me, which I would rather not go into details over but if you like water sports then you will be fine (not my cup of tea)

Staff really friendly. Only complaint is the bookable rooms. Well priced but completely devoid of any ventilation. Complete hermetical seal. Result is an unpleasant, aireless experience. Shame, coz otherwise it's a great place.

Steam Complex is one of the largest saunas in the UK and one of the best equipped. You can even hire a bedroom for overnight weekend stays.
Staff are friendly and helpful, with a few real stars in customer service. There's a good range of simple hot and cold food, though this can take some time to be served.
The complex itself rambles over two floors. Private cabins include some with *****s, a *** stool and a St Andrews Cross. There are 4 areas for watching ****, including one for Bi guys.
The jacuzzi, steam room and sauna are comparatively small but the complex doesn't feel busy as it's easy to lose people in all the space.
Finally, some great membership offers with free return visits in the first week.
The sauna is located about 30 mins walk from central Leeds but well served by buses until midnight.
